dear sangat,

you answers to youths questions are usually excellant in my opinion. God bless you for this precious seva you are doing for the sangat, and may God grant us all the intelligence and wisdom to help both ourselves and those around us.

i just wanted to voice my opinion on all these posts by boys/men with turban and beard who moan about girls not going for their image, and the following is addressed to them:

if you doubt your khalsa identity over such petty issues what does that say about you. these are gifts to you that do you the extra favour of saving you from all those shallow minded people. its a blessing.

low self esteem and self-pitying are their own downfalls. realise what you are, and what you can be! confident people define and assert themselves. they stand above the crowd. confidence is attractive.

look over who and what you are, eliminate the faults and then have some self-respect. You will naturally take on a confident, striking aura. then see what follows from that...
