I have a question about your reply to someone's post on Aug 11,2009.

This person was fearing that they are being affected by black magic and you recommended the following steps to them:

"As you chant envision each of the first 4 Gurus surrounding you. See Guru Nanak Dev Ji above you and on your right with Aad Guray Namay, Guru Angad Dev Ji behind you with Jugaad Guray Namay, Guru Amar Das Ji on your left with Sat Guray Namay and Guru Ram Das Ji in front of you with Siri Gurudevay Namay. That's it. Then put your forehead down and stay like that for 31 minutes."

I understand the shabad for protection, but, could you please describe to me the last sentence. When you say to put my forehead down, do you mean to bow down all the way like we bow down (matha tek) to Guru Granth Sahib and stay in that position for 31 minutes?

Or, do you mean for us to completely lay down flat on our stomachs so that out foreheads are touching the ground. Do I do this in front of Guru Granth Sahib?

Thank you so much for your advice.

You are in what we call BABY POSE...sitting on your knees, buttocks on your heels and arms at your sides or in front in prayer pose and forehead on the ground. You are all tucked together. SK
