Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji KI Fateh

My name is Gurpreet Singh and i am an amritdhari sikh. i am working full time and studing as well and staying in Delhi(India) away from my parents who are in Jalandhar(punjab).i work in the night shift from 11:00pm to 8:00am. so when should i do the Nitnem? because at the time of nitnem i am always in my office. if i do nitnem (Japji saheb,Jaap saheb,Chopai, sveye and Anand Sahib) in the afternoon everyone says this is not the right time, or ur doing formalities. Some say that ur not Pure amritdhari sikh because u donot do nitem in the morning. The comment that kills me is " why have u taken Amrit If u can not follow it properly".

i have an other problem i.e. because i stay away from my parents , studing and working as well so i donot have much time to prepare food for myself every day. so i take food mostly at small restaurents or at small Dhaba because i dont have any other option. In those restaurents people are eating Non veg in front of me or some time shares the same table.so what should i do because everyone say "ur an amritdhari boy .u should not eat in such type of restaurents".but i am just 20 years old and not earning that much that i can afford the expenditure of big restaurents.so tell me what should i do now . i follow sikhism from the core of my heart and donot compromise with my spirtual feeling.

So pls help me out that what should i do now.pls give the answer of both the questions as early as possible.

Gurpreet Singh Ji -

Wahe Guru Ji ka Khalsa
Wahe Guru Ji ki Fateh!

Although each of the banis in out Nitnem is tuned to the energy of a specific time of day, you must not let anyone else tell you what is "right" and what is "wrong." No one has the right to judge you. What matters is what is in your heart, not anyone else's opinion or judgement.

Each of the banis carries the energy of a particular tattva (element)

Ether - Japji Sahib and Shabd Hazaaray
Balances your natural earth energy with the etheric energy

Air - Jaap Sahib and Tav Prasaad Swayaas
Tunes your mind to the power of the Infinite

Fire - Anand Sahib
Energizes and empowers you

Water - Rehiras Sahib with Bentee Chaupaee
Moves you gracefully from the male sun energy of the day
into the female moon energy of the night

Earth - Kirtan Sohilaa
Prepares you to leave the earth

You must understand the flow of your day as you live it, with your own work and sleep schedule, and recite the banis in the natural rhythm of that day.

Eat pure vege food and do not concern yourself with what others are eating. Life is about maintaining your own Rehit in the midst of the world as it exists, not about seeking a perfect environment. Of course, the Guru's langar is the very best food of all, but it is not always available to us. Simply accept the food that God puts before you with gratitude in your heart and let Him arrange all your affairs.

In the Name of the Guru, the Light of Every Sikh and the Holy Naam which holds the world.

.....G
