I think you need to take a stand with your husband. Let him know exactly what you said here at the Forum. Your brother is your blood. If he is considered "bad blood" then why did he marry you? It might create a fight but keep cool and hold your ground. If your brother is all you have from your side of the family then your husband needs respect him. END of story. No buts no excuses. Tell your husband, that if he won't respect your brother, you won't respect his brother. You don't have to insult his brother, but "threatning" might get the point across. If that doesnt work, try counseling. couple's counseling can do wonders. Nevertheless, fight for your brother's respect. Try to figure out why your husband doesn't like him, maybe he had a misunderstanding or smoething. Good luck!
