Just wanted to add a little more to this topic. God is great, I have been seeing someone who is of a different caste for 6 years, he told his parenst about me two years ago and finally after two long years they have agreed, now they want to meet me before i tell mine and then we shall see how it goes. I just want to assure people to have faith in our god, like they say "rab de karh der hai under nehy" pray to god and dont give up i have had two long years of struggle and still am because everytime they set a date to meet me somthing goes wrong!!! caste in sikism shouldnt be an issue at all but mankind have made it one, my parenst dont know about me yet but they are disgusted when they hear of other peoples kids who marry out of their so called caste.... but i am preparted to stick it out and try to get my parents blessing as i believe i have my babaji with me all the time.... so please people in similar situations i know how hard it is to stand up against your parents beliefs i am petrified of telling mine but serioulsy you have to believe within yourself and say how you feel, our parents will never want to see us unhappy so stand your ground! another things i wnated to say is i think a message should be sent from amritsar gudwara down to all the other gudwaras across the world that we need to abolish the caste system in marriages and gudwaras... just like we had a hukum before about eating lanager on the floor... we need something stern like this else the caste system will continue to ruin many peoples lives.

i just want everyone out their to trust in god, do your path read shabads and in your heart ask god to make your wish come true god has a path for everyone but you can pray to god for what you want ans believe that one day he will listenxxx
