hi, i have a question i know everything goes according to wahegurus will and that theres no sense in praying to Him to become rich since that wealth will be left in this world when we leave, but is asking for emotional, mental, spiritual & particularly physical strength to be given to us considered materialistic?, I pray to waheguru for these strengths as well as physical strength so if a time ever comes and i see anyone in trouble i can help them ife theyre gettin beaten up or something like that. Does Waheguru bless us with physical strength if we ask for it? or do you think its in his will for some of us to be meek and weak?

P.S i'm mainly wondering about physical strength specificly because i know all other strengths and courage are given to us by gurus grace if we chant the naam.
(REPLY) Sat Nam. There's nothing wrong with wanting to be physically healthy. Just remember, God helps those who help themselves. If you want to be strong, then exercise, and eat healthy food, and don't pollute your body with alcohol etc. etc. I think you already know this. Anyway, certainly you can pray for physical health, mental clarity and emotional stability so that you can better serve God and Guru. SP

Thank You
