Q) Should you burn printouts etc that have passages from the Guru Granth Sahib rather than just throw them in the bin?

Is it not be better to allow the printout or paper to be recycled and be kinder to the environment rather than burn it?
I don't know which is correct here - should I burn them or can I recycle them showing kindness to the earth - God's creation and eliminating waste?

The point is to prevent misuse of, or disrespect of the Guru's Bani. You can shred and recycle or burn as you wish. I would not simply recycle without shredding first.
