WKWF.. im 17 years of age not amritari but try to do paath during the correct times. However i was wonderin during the summer i kno i wont be able to wake up during the ambroasal hours in the morning. But i will be able to stay awake till that time so i was thinking maybe if i could do Japji Saheb and the other morning prayers during that time? befor i go to sleep? im pretty sure that evebn if i tried to wake up and sleep during the corrrect times i would begin to make excuses and stuff.

(REPLY) Sat Nam. All you can do is the best that you can do. However, no one can, or should, encourage you to settle for less than the "correct" times, but realistically, the important thing is that you do recite the banis every day, whenever you can. If you are asking "permission" -- this is something no one else can give you! You are responsible for whatever you do. I am wondering, what are you going to be doing staying up all night during the summer anyway? Oh, well, just asking! Don't give up the wonderful habit of reciting your banis. Blessings, SP
