Sat Sri Akal. My name is gurpreet i have a question for whoever is reading this. Why is it in our society that we are allowed to drink and if we smoke our parents want to kill us? they both get us high. Why smoking cosidered much worse than drinking, i dont get it? plz help me

Sat Nam ji,
They are both bad and not good for you in any way. However, since drinking alcohol is widespread in Punjab (and among Sikhs) this is probably why it seems more acceptable. Both are addictive beheviors and will not brin you happiness or contentment. skkk
