SSA ji,

i am a 22 year old sikh boy, not amritdhari but keep uncut hair and beard and also do paath whenever i get time( as i am a student pressure of studies is a lot)
I have a girlfriend and we have been together from over 4 years now, we also plan to get married soon. we both have often kissed each other and gone a little beyond this too, not had sex though. i just want to know is this a wrong practice? we love each other a lot and sometimes this just happens on its own. i am studying in the usa and havent seen her from about an year now but will be meeting her soon, so i just wanna clarify this thing. i wanna restate that we are really committed to each other and have been together through each others good and bad alike.

Do not have sex, heavy petting etc.!!! If you can respect and love her then leave that for after you have committed to each other before the Guru and Sadh Sangat in marriage. Instead, enjoy being in each others company and discuss your engagment and marriage plans. Leave it at that. You and she will be happier in the long run.
