Summary of Question:	Can Destiny Be Changed By God Or Human After Birth In One's Lifetime?

I have a question regarding one's destiny with which one is born with. I understand fate and free-will but what about destiny? Can a person change her/his destiny in one's lifetime or can God change a person's destiny or is it written in stone? I have read a story of Sati-Savitri(Hinduism) where she brought back her husband from after death by her prayers and devotion.

(REPLY) Sat Nam. With God's blessing and Guru's grace, anything is possible. When we live by Dharma, we can rise above Karma, and thus our Destiny can be changed. Everything is ultimately God's will. But prayer is our power! So, although some things seem like a paradox, the solution is to have faith and an attitude of gratitude for whatever happens. Blessings, SP
