If two people (husband and wife) have different moral character; one is spiritual and another is worldly it is difficult to live together in harmony under one roof. There is no question of divorce and we accept to live in misery.

1. Can we change the person with intense prayer or simran? or
2. Follow your way and ignore the other person.
3. Accept the way of dominating person and forget about yourself.

(REPLY) Sat Nam. We can never "change" another person, however we can pray for them, and ask God and Guru to inspire them to live in their higher consciousness. Assuming the person asking this question is the "spiritual" one, then he/she might try reciting the "SO Purkh" section of Rehiras on a regular basis and praying for the mate to relate to his/her soul. By the way, I don't know that "moral " character is necessarily a synonym for "spirituality" - because some "worldly" people may be of high moral character, living decently, but without the desire to find values internally rather than externally. If you are "spiritual" you should NEVER forget your intuitive wisdom to relate to God and Guru. Don't "ignore" the other person, but rather bless them, and pray for them, and set an example of kindness and "spirituality."
