waheguru ji ka khalsa, waheguru ji ke fateh

should sikhs particapte in the pledge of alligence to the american constution. if you become amrit dehri you have to believe that your birthplace is Aundpur Sahib, should you still have to particpate in the pledge of alligence.

(REPLY) Sat Nam. Yes, the birthplace of Khalsa is Anandpursahib, but that's not where you live now. As a citizen of this country Khalsa abides by the laws of the United States, and to pledge allegiance to the flag and "to the Republic for which is stands" does not conflict with your spiritual commitment in any way that I can see.
