(REPLY) Sat Nam. Sometimes we do stupid things. Guru is like the sun, always shining, always there. But when we mess up, it's like turning our backs on the warmth and heat of the sun. Your guilt and regret is making you miserable now, and the best thing you can do is faithfully read your banis every day, and don't make the same mistake again! There is always an inner battle in each of us, between the higher consciousness and the lower. Sometimes, when we do something that takes us away from our divine aspiration, it's because we stopped making the determined effort to stay on the path laid out by our Guru. It's like driving a car uphill. If you don't keep your foot on the gas pedal, you will slide backwards! So, my dear, stop crying, dry your tears, and resume your life as a daughter of Guru Gobind Singh so that you can take Amrit at the appropriate time, and know that it is a lifetime commitment that you will never, never betray. Blessings, SP
