I was just wondering if it ok to wear a kachhera with elastic other than the draw string. It is very inconvenient & why is the draw string neccessary, surely we wear trousers/salwars etc over the kacchera?
Thanks

Sat Nam,
Sure, it is OK to wear your Kachera with elastic rather than a nala. Using a nala is traditional because historically elastic was not available.

guru fateh..i was reading the statments about the kacheras and i thought one of the reasons of wearing a nala was that it takes twice the time taking if off than when you have elastic in it..which benifits to thinking twice before commiting adultry at a lustful moment. please correct me if im wrong thank u.
