SSA ji, i have a question, and i dont know why but i think u mite have the answer..

My question is that why do humans need stimulants, like alcohol, drugs?
why cant we be sober. Is it because god wants to test us? It seems like people on drugs and sober people they searching for something. And once we are under the influence of a stimulant we stop searching for that one thing. Once the effect leaves us, the search continutes. What are we searching for? I use to drink a lot. cauze i dont like limits. i wanted to see what is going to happen if i cross the limit. Now i am just doing some soul searchin and looking for answers, if u can suggest me an answer that will be great. I dont know if my mind will accept the answer but will try my best.
