Summary of Question:	Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva

Our Guru's make references many times to Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva. My question is, did they ever walk on earth, and if so, when? What are their connections with Waheguru? Can you please explain to us exactly who they were, what they did etc. Thank-you very much.

Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva refer to the Creator, Sustainer and Destroyer in Hindu philosophy. Deep Hindu philosophy considers them to be one thing, God -- God can be a creator, sustainer or destroyer. Less profound Hindu philosophy and many western conceptualizations of this idea is that Hinduism is a polytheistic religion with three gods. More information can be found on this subject by doing a simple web search on Hindu philosophy.

The connection with Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva with Waheguru is that they are the same thing! Ek Om Kar, There is But 1 God. It doesn't matter if you call God Waheguru, Ram, Allah, Krishna, etc., you are still refering to the same God. People all over the world today fight "on behalf of their God", but the Gurus 500 years ago taught us that it is the same God for everyone.
