I have a very serious concern now. I am leavhing home and I will be doing simran at Golden Temple overthere and at places. In otherwords I wont have a home, I want to know how I can keep my hair clean.. I will be having shampoo, but what will happen to hair if you dont wash it at all? and is it okay if you just wash your hair with the amrit jal at the harminder sahib sarovar? or just by plain water. Are there places inside Harminder Sahib where you can take shower and wash your hair? and if you run out of shampoo from where uget it. Just tell me how to keep your hair and body clean as this is importat part of Sikhis. Espcially Hair Care.

You can shampoo your hairs by using the washing facilities at Nanak Nivas right across the street from Harimandir Sahib. The nivas is close at hand and easily available.
