I would like to ask you it it bad to keep swords on display with out the sheath on, as i have heard from lots of people that it bad like superstitous people who say that if a sword is left exposed then it asks for blood, and it will cause fights in the household (i do not belive this) and i am not superstitous. Could you put my mind at rest

The swords that rest in front of the Siri Guru Granth Sahib generally have no sheath on them. Use your tongue to bless those people who are so fearful. There is no mastery where there is mystery.
