Summary of Question:	Sikhism A Part Of Hinduism Or Not !!!!!!

Sat sri Akal Sikhnet !!

I am pursuing my graduation from delhi university , i was the part of debate that was organized by Delhi university on Religions and Faith in India..

The conclusions for Sikhism are as follows :-

1- Sikhism is a part of Hinduism as some people(Hindus) organized together to save hinduism from Islamic extremists so these people cannot be different from Hindus.THIS IS A BASTARDIZATION OF THE TRUTH

2- Secondly all Sikh Gurus used the word like dev not singh so 9 Gurus were Hindus and Guru gobind Formed few people as khalsa to save hindu religion from Islamic extremists so now there is no WAR and no threat on religion so many Sikhs are coming back to their roots.GURU NANAK SAID THERE IS NO HINDU THERE IS NO MUSSALMAN....

3- Banda Bairagi a Hindu Kashmiri Pandit who boosted the morale of depressed Guru Gobind singh after his whole family was murdered by Muslims however He also took revenge of Guru Gobind Singh's Family by Defeating the King of Sarhind, So Banda Bairagi(a Hindu) who helped Sikhs to start their kingdom in Punjab.HE TOOK AMRIT AND BECAME A KHALSA

Also one of the conclusion was that there are few historians who changed the History of India to disintegrate India but what so ever i read in the Sikh history is totally different Sikh history says it was Banda Singh Bahadur who
won punjab.

Are we(Sikhs) really Hindus if yes then Hindus don't wear turbans, then why are we wearing turbans now there is no war , No threat on us, I had asked the same question to my parents they were also agreed that 9 gurus used dev not singh so they cannot be SIKHS they were Hindus so if we follow Guru nanak dev ji then there is no need to wear turban but followers of Guru Gobind singh ji can wear it.

One more question that sometimes comes in my mind that if Guru Nanak Dev ji
started Sikhism as a first guru Being a Hindu then we are Hindus..

What do you think on this ??THIS IS PART OF AN ATTEMPT TO BELITTLE THE IDENTITY OF KHALSA. IT IS ALL PROPAGANDA AND UNTRUTHS.
