If you are going to create a question and answer web page for the sikh youth, read the Guru Granth Sahib and UNDERSTAND it beforehand. I find many questions on this site with people saying that they have done bad and Waheguru dislikes them because of, and even the answers state that what they have done caused Waheguru to not like them. However, on the first page of the Guru Grant sahib in mool manthar,

Ek onkaar, satnam, karta purak, nirbao, NIRVAIR (he is without hate, meaning he does not dislike any of his creations)

When a person is "punished" by Waheguru, it is out of love, our lord is trying to make us better, which is not a sign of hate or dislike, but of care.

Wahe Guru Ji ka Khalsa
Wahe Guru Ji ki Fateh!

Not only is the concept of Waheguru not "liking" someone absurd, the concept of someone being "punished" by Waheguru is also absurd.

One is not liked or disliked by the Guru or God. One generates such thoughts within oneself through one's own guilt. Likewise no one is ever punished. If one creates karma through one's actions, one suffers the sequence and consequence of that action. It is simply a law of the universe. Nothing personal.

The reality is that God and we are one (Ik Ong Kar.) When we are not aware of that oneness, we act as if we were a separate being. That is the trap of ego.

As for being punished... The universe is a university, and we all must be graduated eventually. Yes, it's painful to take the same lessons over and over, so our job is to surrender, pay attention and pass our lessons the first time round.

Everything that comes before us every day is the Guru. The Guru is teaching us exactly what we need to learn that day.

It's that simple.
