What and Where does the Holy Guru Granth Sahib mention about Adoption?

I don't know if it directly mentions adoption...but it does talk about taking care of the weak. Sikhs have always had orphanages...and isn't it a part of the Sikh culture to consider others, not just in your immediate family as brothers or sisters? It seems like the Sikh way of life is to be very inclusive, taking people into their homes and making them welcome. It seems that adoption would be very appropriate in the Sikh lifestyle. GTKK
