waheguru ji ka khalsa waheguru ji ki fateh ji

i am 38 years old women and i have been married twice. None of my marriages have worked out. i am divorced with 3 children. three years ago i started taking interest in my sikh faith and and keeping my rehats .i wish to take amrit in the near future with waheguru ji's blessings.. i have tried very hard to live and cope by myself but it is some what very difficult to do so. i wish to get married again but this time to some one of my choice. i dont like the cultural thing as people judge me because of my past. i feel i need a companion in my life but it seems to be very hard to find a decent gursikh.i dont know how to say this , im sorry if this seems wrong but the best way i can explain this is that i would like to marry an english converted gursikh but i do not know how to go about it. if you could guide me in the right direction i would be very greatful.

waheguru ji ka khalsa waheguru ji ki fateh ji

(REPLY) Sat Nam. It is understandable that you would like to marry someone of your choice, since the previous marriages didn't work out. However, marriage doesn't necessarily bring happiness (as you already know!) But, you could try going to the matrimonial section on this SikhNet website, and state your preferences and see what happens. If you want to attract a saintly man to you, then I would suggest that you recite the SoPurkh section of Rehiras 11 times a day (in addition to the regular paath) for at least 40 days, and see what happens. It has been know to work wonders! May God bless you and your children, SP
