Summary of Question:donating blood or organs

Is it ok for an amritdhari Sikh to donate blood, or carry a donor card for their organs to be used after they die? Some people say that because you have amrit in your blood, you should not give it to anyone else or doesn't, and that you should be cremated in the same state as you were born in with no bits missing.

But a healthy person makes up the blood given quickly, and isn't the amrit in their soul, not the physical blood? Also, if you die, isn't your body as dust? So if your organs can help someone else, shouldn't you allow them to be used?

Please tell me which view is right, or whether there's another answer.

Thank you

Yes, it is perfectly OK for an Amritdhari Sikh to donate and/or organs. Everything else you have heard is pure superstition and misguidance.
