I have reacently disconnected from one of my long term friends, which upset her quite alot, as well as upsetting me.
I am planning to do this with all my friends - amritdhari and non.
The reason is that all through my teen years I have had a friendship which I thought was a true friendship, but in the end just to find out that the people were using me, when they did not want to know me anymore.
I was hurt badly every time.
So now I want to leave all my 'friends' so that they cannot hurt me anymore.
I am thinking now that all i need are my family and GOD.
However will God think bad of me because of my decision and the actions I am going to take, being an Amritdhari?
Im not sure of this and need to know, because I can live without friends but not without God.
You may think me silly, but I am serious.
Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh.
It is very hard to get through betrayal. As long as your relationship with God is strong there should be no problem. I don?t think you need to cut everyone off in order to protect yourself. Simply put your trust and faith in God and remember that all of our other relationships are temporary.
