my question is it a sin as a sikh to masturbate, i don't want to know if its good for you or not, because i alreadly know that, i just want to know wheather its a sin or not. if it is a sin can you tell me how to stop, because whenever i try , the most i can go on for is about 2 weeks the maximum. Pleas Help Me.

So, I will address your question above which goes to "what is a sin?"

What does "sin" mean to you?

To me, a sin is an action or thought that makes you feel separated from God. If sexual thoughts and/or masturbation are an obsession, then that takes your mind away from the experience of Ang Sang Wahe Guru and binds you to your desires, kam. You must understand your own mind and master it through Naam. The mind makes a wonderful servant but it is a lousy master.
