I'm intrested in joining the faith of sikism how would i go about it.I found the address of my local gurdwara and it was during the day and it looked locked up(its not in a very good area)what should i do ?

I don't know how to become a Sikh. It is not a mental thing. Either it is your destiny or it is not. It is in your heart, not your head and it is between you and your Guru. Most Gurdwaras have a service on Sunday with keertan (music) and a meal (langar) afterwards. If you feel drawn to that, then see for yourself. Perhaps you have a friend who is a Sikh and you can talk with him or her about it. It is a lifestyle. A very simple one. Get up early in the morning and connect yourself to your True Identity (God), work hard and earn your living honestly, see God in all and share your blessings with others.
