See earlier post today on topic of masturbation (search by today's date). Acne is a by-product of the hormonal imbalances typical of puberty /the maturing process in both boys and girls. Additionally, some folks have a form of acne that is caused by factors other than hormones (pollution, genetics, etc.) and that lasts well into adulthood.
Most teenage acne disappears by age 21 if not sooner.
