i have been brought up with no sikhs in my area. my area which is mostly of pakistani people. i am now 19, and since my school days ive been with brought up with pakistani people. i have also been taking drugs such as marajana because i only had them as my friends.

but now i have met sikhs friends and want to get out of this mess, which is my drug taking and alcohol.

Dear Harjinder:
I think it's wonderful you want to give up drugs. Ask your new Sikh friends to help you quit taking drugs; efforts like this need supportive friends to be successful. If you are seriously addicted, you might need medical treatment but I don't know where you live or if that is an option for you. Make a commitment to YOURSELF that you want a drug-free life. Most important of all, avoid any contact whatsoever with those you bought drugs from or took them with. Change your circle entirely.
