Literally a Sikh means a learner, who is constantly looking for ways and implementing spritual practices that will improve his/her existence and that of those around him/her. A Gursikh person seeks the sanctuary of the Guru to bring him/her from darkness to light. There is a whole shabd that Guru Ram Das wrote on how Gursikhs should act and conduct themselves. The first line is "Gur Satgur Ka Jo Sikh Akhaye, So Bhalke Uth Harnam Dhiyaye...". Please look it up in the Amrit Kirtan or any SGGS website or CD.
