Sat Siri Akaal. Sikhs are householders, who practice bani and Naam Simran, but Sikhs also work for their living. Sikhs are taught to do honest work by the sweat of their brow. Sikhs do not beg or take handouts from anyone, nor do Sikhs gamble as a means of income. Worldwide, you will find Sikhs in many many professions - from farmer to cabdriver to doctor to nuclear scientist to banker.

For more on Sikhi, I recommend you search this Website directly. Also search http://www.sikhseek.com.

God bless you,
--DKK
