My friend who is a sikh is having a baby at 18. What should she do? Her in laws are not talking to her.She is staying with me and my older sister who is 23. Buty she can't stay with us forever.We are going to college soon. She is already 3 months pregant and we are worried about what she should do? Her husband of 4 months already left her for another lady. She has no parents and her only relative is her grandma who lives across the country.

(REPLY) Sat Nam. This is so sad. I'm so sorry to learn of your friend's situation. I don't know what country you are in, but it seems she should go to be with her grandma. Is that possible? In the USA, the husband is legally responsible to financially support her and the baby. Your friend needs to get a lawyer -- fast. Try finding Legal Aid.
