I wish to know how to stay focused on my prayers. I normally have lots of other thoughts clouding my mind while praying. Thank you.

This is normal to have thoughts seeming to surface when you are trying NOT to think. These thoughts come up and get cleansed out by your maintaining your focus and continuing with your prayer.
