i read the question and response of someone who asked if girls marrying men out of our religion was right. the response was yes, that's the only way our religion will expand. BUT most of these girls r going out nd converting to they're husband's religion.Less nd less r willing to stay within the warmth of sikhi. i spoke to a lot of my cousins frends who r much older than my self (im only 14) they claimed dat dey wud convert instead of making they're husbands convert. Now dont get me wrong, most of these girls r very much in tune with sikhi, but they want to explore the depths of other religions, nd they feel that the only way to do so is by converting to see wat its like to b say... a muslim if dey marry a muslim. so there r two sides to this topic it can b gud nd very bad at the same time.

Sat SIri Akaal. You are right. I wrote that earlier reply and did not presume that ALL Sikh girls were keeping to Sikhi when they married outside of Sikhi. I think for a lot of them it's just a question of getting married and parental pressure. Too bad. If someone is really, truly Sikh, from the heart out, then they will not convert at any price.
