Sat Siri AKaal. All the Gurus but the 8th Guru were husbands and fathers of their very own kin. Does this mean they didn't qualify as saints, sants, or babas? The Siri Guru tells us that the only true attachment is attachment to the Naam, not to family or work. To live that is another story; it takes practice and discipline! But the teaching of Siri Guru is that we are HOUSEHOLDERS, not asectics, and we can know God and have families and jobs by making time to meditate. So a sant or baba with kids is, perhaps, trying to practice this for themselves. Who are you or your father to judge that?

As for who decides someone is a Sant or Saint or Babaji, well, does it matter, really? You can decide in your own mind if someone you meet is a saint or not, but if you cannot see God in all, you cannot see God at all. Why, therefore, do you spend so much time 'hating' sants and babas with children? Some people have titles bestowed on them, others make them up for themselves. So what. Focus on developing your own ability to live like a saint and act like a soldier (sant-sapahee) and let go of judging others. Guru ang sang,
