Sat Sri Akal.
I recently took part in the Manchester,UK nagar kirtan and all who took part wore "Khalsa" colours.Could you please tell me how particular colours (namely orange/kesari rang) became significant in our religion?
My second question is regarding the "5 K's" . Does anyone know why the letter "K" was chosen or is that a mere coincidence?
I am eager to find out the answers to these questions.
Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh.
Thank you,
Manni.

Manni - Orange was a color given by Guru Gobind Singh, along with navy blue. "K" is the first letter of the 5 K's, Kanga, Kara, Kesh, Kirpan, Kachara.
Seems pretty simple, unless I'm missing something here. GTKK
