hey you guys are doing a great job. i searched on the death i got some answers but not all.


my gran died on sunday the 19th june, i just want her to be happy and with god. i do path in english but i find it difficult to sit and do path. i mostly do simran, is there a short simple path i can do to help her or what simran will help her on her journey and give her peace. also is the journey long, what exactly happens, so is she not at her destination yet? also what else can we do to help her.

can you explain to me about the 10 days and i have read something about 17 days. whats going on i dont understand. also we couldn't get the funeral within 10 days, is that bad. i just want to help my gran.

also i read when you give them there final bath do you leave the yougurt on them. and do you do mul manter path giving them there final bath.

Sat nam. Any naam simran or paath DEDICATED to the soul of your gran will help her. Period. Quite simply, ask Guru to take her home, across that 'ocean' that divides this side from that side.
The other things you asked are advisable, but not required. I have heard 3 days, 10 days, 17 days. Since it's clearly been longer than that, hand it over to Guru and leave her with Guru. The yogurt practice is for preparing the body for cremation. Now we have cold morgues,but at one time yogurt was put on the body to kill bacteria that lead to body decomposition (before cremation time).
