Why does Sri Guru Granth Sahib cost so much money? A friend of mine who is muslim wants to study about Sikhism so he went to the bookstore Barnes&Noble Border's to name a couple and SGGS was not available. So then I took him to a local Indian bookstore which sells SGGS but the price was Outrageous $200.00 per copy. We then even tried to order online and it was also $200.00
If Sikhism is suppose to be one of the largest religions in the world, why is Sri Guru Granth Sahib not in mass production? Even in India it is not in mass production aside from Panjab.
If SGGS is the word of GOD and our Living Guru, then why does it have such a high price?
There are many people who cannot afford this I feel that it is an insult to the unfortunate people? If WaheGuru is Grace, Love and simplicity, then HE should bestow HIS Grace, upon the price of SGGS and make it simply affordale and accessible to every in search and need of HIS nectar.

It's a good question. Maybe some young Gursikhs out there can think about starting their own business where they mass produce Siri Guru Granth Sahibs in a way to make it more affordable.
