Veerji or Penji,
I wanted to know the shape/size of cloth for making my own Kachera/Kashera. How does one make them. The ones I have are shorts, not Kacheras. Please enlighten. This would help many.
Thanks from this Guru's intended slave.

Dear One:
Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh!
The amount of cloth you need completely depends on the width of the cloth and your own size/shape. If you live near/in a Sikh community, ask around. A lot of women (usually) make kacheras for their family members and might be willing to make some for you for a fee. Another option, if you can find ONE pair of kacheras to fit you, find ANY seamstress or tailor who can then sew you multiple pairs based on the one pair that fit. Unless you live in a very rural area, there are always seamstresses and tailors in/around big cities, pretty much anywhere you live.
Personally, I have seen them being made (I do not sew) and noticed that they are not as easy to sew as they may look.
