Kidda

Wen eva get introduced to SIKH people, they allways ask me wot caste i am. I then tell them, and say that i dnt beleve in the caste system because the Gurus created the KHALSA. This abolished the need for a caste system.

Now wen som 1 asks me wot i am i will tell them that i have no caste but i am part of the KHALSA . Like the person who is asking me is part of the KHALSA.
I think that this message needs 2 b spread around the SIKH YOUTH, so that in the next generation this cast system is forgoten, i see this system has being partly raicist. This is because it says that who eva is JATT is higher than who eva is tarkhan. Which eva way it goes i dnt care. It tells the ppl to look down at other castes.

I am 16 years of age and i have these strong views bout our religion, and i am sure that there are other ppl out there who share the same views has me. I hope that i not offended n e 1 by xpersing my views.

Sat Siri Akaal, Ji.

Thank you. I think your way of avoiding answers about your caste is perfect, and I agree that the way to get our Sikh youth to stop thinking about caste is to refuse to talk about it in any form. Indeed, we are members of the FAMILY (not caste) of Khalsa. I hope other youth will follow your example.

The caste system is, in part, racist. Siri Guru tells us in the voice of Kabeer Ji that when we criticize another for any reason whatsoever, we criticize the Creator who made us all. If you cannot see God in all, you cannot see God AT ALL.

Guru ang sang,
