hello, i have a major problem,the ONLY ONLY thing i wanna do in my life is to give back to my parents all they have given to me...i wanna make em proud of me..of what i have accomplished in my life(edu) i will do anything to get this...but so far (i am senior in high school), there is no Bright light at the end of the tunnel EVEN when i am praying and working as HARD as i possible can think of....i am not getting paid off of what i do...what should i do...please do not tell me (not trying to be mean) to ask a counsler or teacher bc they say the same things over n over...study more...i've tried their techniques and am still not satisfied...what should i do??

you are very kind, giving and responsible young person to want to give back to your parents, to take care of them, support them and be a positive contributor to the family.

if you are a senior in high school, then the advice is to just be patient with yourself. If you are working as hard as you can and praying as hard as you can - then there's nothing else to do. Everything else is in the hands of God. Just gracefully accept what the Creator send you. Receive it with thanks. Share it. bless it. And keep going. You have many years ahead of you to make your parents proud. Be like a tree - right now you are young, but slowly, year by year, you will gorw, your roots will become stronger and stronger, your leaves provide more and more shade. It just takes time.
