Sat Sri akal,I am married to a clean shaved guy who believes in Radhaswami.I have twin sons of age 13.After marriage I realized that its very difficult to live with a person with different religion.I have very much faith in sikhism. My kids wear turbuns. My brother in law always tell my kids that they don't look good in tubuns and better to cut your hair. No one like my gurudwara sahib visits and wants me to go for satsangs with them. Slowly slowly I am loosing interest in married life. Please advice me.

Thanks

Sat Siri Akal.

You are loosing interest in married life because your soul has a longing to fulfill its purpose for being on earth, and the mariage at the moment has become a heavy karma that is getting in the way of that purpose. Really, you have some very difficult decisions to make. Do you stay married and learn to live with the tension over religion? Or do you get divorced and live freely as a Sikh woman? The children will be caught in the middle of the fight no matter which path you choose, but you are their mother and the best protection you can give them is to pray that Guru guides them in their lives. Look inside of yourself, maybe get some counseling, find some tools to help you sort out everything that is going on. As a woman, you must be sovereign within your own life, you must be free to worship God as you choose and pass those values onto your children without interference. Only you can know what it will take for you to regain that sovereignty. Turn to Guru and ask for His guidance and remember that, no matter what decisions you make, your Guru will always love you and will always be with you.

God bless you and good luck for the journey you are facing.

All love,

GPK
