Summary of Question:	What Does Sikhism Preach Regarding Abortion?

Many sikh poeple have told me their views on abortion, and this i respect. however what i would like to know is what is wriiten about this issue in the Guru Granth Sahib? please could someone give me a quote and explanation.

The Siri Guru Granth Sahib is a divine revelation of the Sikhs Guru and the Saints speaking of the oneness of the Creator. It is not a code book.

There is no mention of the pro'c or cons of abortion. This is a personal issue.
