Hi i just had a baby girl. to get her name i went to the gurdwara got the granthi to open the holy book and the alphabet that came out was "M". so i named her Maya.

I just wasnt to know is Maya a right name to name a sikh girl and what is the actual meaning because some people say it has negative connotations i am worried.

Sat Nam! Your baby's name should represent her highest destiny. I'm sure that's not Maya.
