wat do ppl have against nihangs?

also why don't ppl like Jat?
i am Jat but i don't look down upon ppl who aren't
i believe you are what you make yourself.
if you work hard you wil get wat you deserve.
ppl ask me wat i am
the first thing i say is that i am sikh
then they will ask me wat i am again and then i will say i am Jat.
it is just like saying yeah, i belong to a family who were farmers.
I don't see why people have a problem with it, it is normal...

IT'S JUST LIKE SAYING THIS IS MY NAME.

i think ppl should be proud of their past rather than abolish it. when the guru's said do not believe in the caste system he meant exactly that-do not believe in the ranking of people. therefore i do not care whether i marry someone from another caste or even race.

Therefore there is nothing wrong with saying I am Jat, as long as you treat it as being a part of your heritage rather than seeing others being lower than you. I thought I would post this cos my friend kept on pestering me about what caste I was. When I told her I was Jat she gave me a look of envy. I DID NOT PUT HER DOWN but she did herself by believing in classifying ppl. therefore I think people who say the caste system should be abolished say it because they believe in classifying ppl themselves. However I am not going to ruin or destroy my heritage cos they and the rest of society use the caste system as an excuse to class ppl into high and low. They think wrong not me!
