Sat Nam! There are lots of differences. The biggest difference is that when you masturbate, you create your polarity through your imagination - through your fantasy - i.e., it doesn't really exist. When you make love with your husband, then your energies and your husband's energies combine and the merger of the two is much more powerful than a fantasy. Sex, when it happens in the merged state of higher consciousness, regenerates the body and the psyche. The energy is very powerful. It rebuilds you and your husband. It gives you the initiative of achievement and success. It creates the sixth sense and it makes you both very intuitive. But when sex is a situation of the indulgence of two individuals to just exchange your commotions, feelings, and personality, then it destroys. It makes both human beings weak, it does not take them anywhere.
