Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa

Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh

I hope you can kindly provide some information concerning a Sikh academy or high school located in Amritsar that teaches young American Sikhs. I have heard that there is a school where non-Punjabi Sikhs (also known as American Sikhs) send their children to learn about religion as well as Punjabi language and culture. I think that this school is also affiliated with the University of New Mexico.

I would like to graduate early from college and spend a semester and/or summer doing seva and teaching these students before I go on to medical school in the U.S. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Perhaps if all goes well I may be able to establish a program for other Sikh college students to spend time in Punjab serving their community and getting in touch with their roots.
