WJKK WJKI

This is just a comment on the email about rituals and gurbani. What Guru Nanak actually meant when he said that reading the Vedas and shastraas etc were ritualistic is that only those people who read them mechanically are wrong. He didnt mean that they were all wrong coz they read, those who read in true devotion and to teach were true, those who just recited them only for show thinking it was enough were the false! Thats all i feel he meant. If you read Gurbani you will also see Guru Nanak tells the people how to be a real Muslims and Hindu follower. So when the Guru's said these harsh words they were not aimed at the religion or its holy books only the people who used them incorrectly. When religion fuction true, then there is no different within any religion. Its the people who use religion as a exuse to carry out their own selfish needs, is when Guru spoke out. Religion too evolves i feel. The Vedas, The bible, Quran and the Granth sahib are the same in terms of what they say. Religion now such as Sikhi say that all relgions are correct and in Kirtan Sohila Guru Nanak says the praise of God is the best relgion and that what all relgions do!! The only diff with Sikhi is that it has learnt from the mistakes made by people througth the ages not the Religion and bluntly expressed them. Reading is useless, but its essential, reciting is useless but essential, talking is useless but essential, Holy book are useless but essential, relgious clothes are useless but essential, being a brave soldier sis useless but essential. All these have been told to us in Savayia in the 5 banis so we require all to be complete and most important God MUST be included in everthing for it to become true :)waheguru waheguru waheguru lets us all lift the weight of ignorance of our souls and when we accept all, will we our souls feel light and blissful :) Also i went to Gudwara on Sundaya nd the Granthi did somnthing i had neevr seen before. He was doing the Anand Sabih but instead of having his head burried in the Granth Sahib, he looked intot he eys of the sangat and he talked it to them as id Guru Ji was talking through him, it held everones attention. So in conclusion When we read Gurbani feel that ur voice is The Guru sitting infront of u tell you the message :) WAHEGURU
