I am 15 and live in Singapore.In Singapore, Christianity is very much being spread. There people at bus terminals and train stations handing out pamplets on how wonderful christainity is and how it is the only Hope For Mankind.People from churches, would provide free tutions and built old folks home. At first, they would take you in regarless of race or reelegion. However, they slowly startt to spread their ideas and relegion. I know a lot of friends and family who have given in to them. One family i knew slowly converted one by one. I feel the main readon has to why it is happening is that the christains project themselves to be the new age relegion. It is cool to be a christain. The idea of Easter and Christmas is very appaling easpecially to the younger ones. The idea of Santa Claus and Easter Bunny draws them in. They see Sikhisim as more of a boither than anything else. To keep hair is troublesome as sometimes, the boys get teased in school. When they do come to temple, they do not understand what the giani ji is saying and even in the darbar sahib, people are talking non-stop. It is really disheartening to see that the sikhs are losing their roots. Only few are staying strong. Others are just Sikhs because thier parents and grandparents are sikhs. They do not understand how beuatiful Sikhi is. I really do want to reach out to people but, talking about relegion is sighted as Uncool thus nobody listens. How can i do anything to help?

Sat Nam. Are you familiar with Guru Jaswant Kaur and her husband? She is an American Sikh, went to school in India and married her husband, an Indian Sikh. They are both in their twenties,live in Singapore, run a yoga center there and are very active in their Gurdwara with the youth. Do you know them? I think they could help you a lot.
