Meditation is not always easy and the benefits, while ever-present, are felt over a long period of time. I suggest focusing on your breath and the sound you are making while reading your Paat. Your imagination will wander all over the place, but just control your focus and keep it on the bani. An understanding of the meaning is especially helpful.
I learned Japji Sahib through repitition. Eventually it just becomes natural to you.
A Singh is meant to humbly folow the Guru's word. If you do this you will find that Guru teaches us to live Righteously, act and speak in Truth, share our earnings and love God.
How do we know there is a God? There is a creation which is proof of a creative power.
